OUR STORY

Mounters Gin is a micro-distillery based near Sturminster Newton, in the heart of the Blackmore Vale, Dorset, England. 

In search of a classic dry gin with a spirited lift, the initial recipe was prepared, trialled and evolved, a process that also saw the introduction of a pure and natural spring water sourced from Dorsets' own and famous Jurassic coast. From these endeavours, an authentic London Dry Gin was established.

Locals claim that the ‘Mounters’ were the Roman settlers in the area where Mounters Gin was conceived, overlooking the Blackmore Vale from the natural mount upon which they lived. Thus, so named, the first bottles of Mounters Gin made their way to the local retailers and bars.

Stalled by the covid pandemic of 2020, the opportunity was taken to rebrand and step up production. Mounters13 is the result,  reflecting the 13 botanicals that make the perfect Shaftesbury Dry Gin.

In small batch traditional copper still production, every single bottle of Mounters13 Gin is prepared with the passionate care and attention of a craft distiller, to both the process and recipe,  presenting a spirited taste in a modern classic dry gin.
